What Play Console accepts for phone, tablet, Chromebook, Wear OS, Android TV, Automotive and XR screenshots, plus the feature graphic and icon. Taken from Google's own help page.

What size should Google Play screenshots be?
JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no alpha, at least 320 px and at most 3840 px on each side, with the long side no more than twice the short side. Google recommends at least 1080 × 1920 (9:16) or 1920 × 1080 (16:9).
How many Google Play screenshots do I need?
At least 2 across device types to publish, and up to 8 per device type. For large-format recommendations, Google asks for at least 4 for apps and 3 for games.

Why does Google mention both 3,840 and 7,680 px?
Google's page states a general maximum of 3,840 px and also a 1,080–7,680 px range for Chromebooks and tablets. The presets here stay at or below 3,840 px, which satisfies both.
